I love the Lord. He is the only stable influence in my life.
He guides me in all I do well he tries to, I don’t always listen. But I do regret it when I don’t listen to him. I do a lot of reaping from what I sow. But my main desire is to change; sometimes I get to the point where I think I’m too old to change; but then I remember what he said in his word, all things are made new again.
I am a new creature in Christ who loves me. I am to put off the old man; he would not ask it of me if it were not possible to do.
I believe that it will get harder and harder to do as we get older but it can be done. And with the Lords help I will do it.
So for the New Year I will have the same goal as I always do.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge him;
And He shall direct our paths.
Psalms 2:5-6
